Anaheim Angels -- Placed right fielder Tim Salmon on the 15-day

disabled list with a left upper cervical and shoulder strain;

recalled outfielder Jeff DaVanon from Salt Lake of the Pacific

Coast League (AAA); activated catcher Jose Molina and optioned

him to Salt Lake.

Chicago White Sox -- Placed pitcher David Wells on the 15-day

disabled list, retroactive to June 29, with a lower back strain;

right shoulder; recalled pitcher Aaron Myette from Oklahoma of

the Pacific Coast League (AAA).

Toronto Blue Jays -- Agreed to terms with pitchers Brandon

League and Christopher Neylan, outfielder Tyrell Godwin and

shortstop Michael Rouse.

Newark Bears (Atlantic League/Independent) -- Agreed to terms

with pitcher Hector Wagner; released pitcher Fausto Macey.
