Trashers re-sign Domenichelli

ATLANTA, July 2 -- The Atlanta Thrashers agreed to terms Monday with restricted free agent left wing Hnat Domenichelli and traded left wing Denny Lambert to the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim for future considerations.

The 25-year-old Domenichelli had 15 goals and 12 assists for 27 points in 63 games last season. He was second on the club in goals despite missing 17 games due to injury. He has 43 goals and 45 assists for 88 points in 199 NHL games with Hartford, Calgary and Atlanta.

Lambert had one goal, seven assists and 215 penalty minutes in 67 games last season. In 414 career games with Anaheim, Ottawa, Nashville and Atlanta, he has 25 goals, 61 assists and 963 penalty minutes.NEWLN:
