Sharks sign Bobby Dollas

SAN JOSE, Nov. 4 -- The San Jose Sharks Saturday signed free agent defenseman Bobby Dollas, who had been playing for the Manitoba Moose of the International Hockey League.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The 35-year-old Dollas tallied one goal and two assists in eight games for Manitoba after spending the majority of the 1999-00 season with the Calgary Flames.

He also played in one game for the Ottawa Senators and 13 contests for the Long Beach Ice Dogs of the IHL last season.

Originally drafted by Winnipeg in the first round of the 1983 draft, Dollas has scored 136 points on 41 goals and 95 assists in 625 career games with Winnipeg, Quebec, Anaheim, Edmonton, Pittsburgh, Ottawa and Calgary.
