Magic puts DeClerq on injured list

ORLANDO, Nov. 2 -- The Orlando Magic Thursday placed forward-center Andrew DeClerq on the injured list with a strained left hamstring and signed free agent guard Elliott Perry, who had been waived by the New Jersey Nets.

DeClerq, who was acquired in an offseason trade with the Cleveland Cavaliers, suffered the injury in Wednesday's 105-79 loss at Miami. He scored eight points in nine minutes after not playing in Orlando's season-opening victory over Washington on Tuesday.
