ATLANTA, July 28 -- The Atlanta Thrashers Friday re-signed left wing Hnat Domenichelli, a restricted free agent.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Domenichelli, 24, began last season with the Calgary Flames before being acquired in a four-player trade on Feb. 11.
In 27 games with Atlanta, Domenichelli tallied six goals and eight points. He had a combined 11 goals and 18 assists in 59 games.
The 6-0, 195-pound Domenichelli has recorded 28 goals and 33 assists in 136 career games. He was originally selected by the Hartford Whalers in the fourth round of the 1994 draft.
Atlanta also signed free agent goaltender Milan Hnilicka, who played in two games for the New York Rangers last season. He spent the majority of last season playing for the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.
