Dooling picked No. 10, dealt to Clippers

MINNEAPOLIS, June 28 -- The Orlando Magic chose Missouri guard Keyon Dooling with the 10th pick in the NBA Draft Wednesday night and then sent him to the Los Angeles Clippers in a multi-player trade.

Along with Dooling, the Clippers receive Corey Maggette, Derek Strong and cash.

Los Angeles sends Orlando a future first-round choice.

Dooling has played mostly off the ball but at 6-3 and 184 pounds has a point guard's body.

Regardless, Dooling appears to be the best potential point man in the draft despite leaving school after just two seasons.

Dooling averaged a team-best 15.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists in his sophomore campaign. He was just eight of 28 from three-point range as a freshman but 57 of 164 from beyond the arc as a sophomore.
