Utah 96, Boston 86

BOSTON, Dec. 15 -- Karl Malone scored 27 points and Howard Eisley added 15, including seven in a decisive fourth-quarter run, as the Utah Jazz extended their season-high winning streak to seven games Wednesday night with a 96-86 victory over the Boston Celtics.

Utah led 67-63 after three quarters and opened the fourth period with a 15-4 run.

Eisley sank two free throws as the Jazz moved out to a 82-67 advantage with 7:09 to play.

The Jazz have won 14 straight games against the Celtics since a 112- 101 loss in Boston on Dec. 20, 1991.

Boston's Antoine Walker, picking up the slack for injured leading scorer Paul Pierce, poured in a season-high 36 points on 13-of-23 shooting and grabbed 12 rebounds but the Celtics (10-11) fell under .500 for the first time this season.
