LOS ANGELES, July 11 -- A Georgia high school teacher who was profiled on the TV show 'Unsolved Mysteries' for allegedly distributing child pornography has been arrested in Southern California. Police say 55-year-old John Arbogast was arrested at a residential hotel in Los Angeles today for possession of child pornography.
Police received a tip that he had child pornography, but didn't know at the time that he had been profiled on the television show. Police say Arbogast admitted to having an outstanding warrant in Atlanta, where the FBI served a search warrant and seized a computer he allegedly used to distribute child pornography. He allegedly fled to Las Vegas, Nev., then fled again to Los Angeles after seeing his story told on 'Unsolved Mysteries.' Investigators say he was working as a food server in the Santa Monica area. ---
