S.Korea upholds prison for ex-leaders

SEOUL, April 17 -- South Korea's Supreme Court has (Thursday) upheld lengthy prison terms handed down to two ex-presidents. Chun Doo- hwan ('Chahn Doo-wahn') was sentenced to life in prison and successor Roh Tae-woo ('NOH' Tay-woo') has received 17 years in a Supreme Court ruling that upholds charges of treason, insurrection, attempted murder and bribery.
