Wilkins signs one-year deal with Spurs

SAN ANTONIO, Oct. 3 -- The man known as the 'Human Highlight Film' is back in the NBA -- at least for a tryout.

Dominique Wilkins agreed to terms Thursday on a one-year contract with the San Antonio Spurs. Financial terms were not released. The 6-foot-8, 215-pound Wilkins is eighth on the NBA's all-time scoring list, and his 25,389 points are the most among active players. Wilkins played in Greece last season for European Cup champion Panathinaikos. He last wore an NBA uniform in 1994-95 when he played for the Boston Celtics.
