NEW YORK, Nov. 6 -- The NBA suspended Chris Mills of the Cleveland Cavaliers for one game and fined him $10,000 Monday and suspended Predrag Danilovic of the Miami Heat for one game and fined him $3,500 for an altercation during a game Saturday night.
Both players also received automatic $1,000 fines for being ejected from a game. Mills was fined for initiating an altercation by elbowing Danilovic in the chin and throwing a punch with 5:42 left to play in Miami's 85-71 victory. Danilovic was fined for elbowing Mills to the side of the head. Mills will miss Cleveland's game against Indiana Tuesday night and Danilovic will sit out Miami's game against Houston Wednesday night.
