Lech Walesa to visit Argentina

BUENOS AIRES, Feb. 20 -- Polish President Lech Walesa will meet with his Argentine counterpart, Carlos Menem, during a two-day official visit to Argentina, officials said Monday.

Walesa is scheduled to arrive Tuesday night, accompanied by a delegation of 20 Polish businessmen seeking trade ties in South America. During his stay, the Polish leader will meet several times with Menem and will hold discussions with Argentine congressional leaders. Walesa's tour of South America will continue Thursday to Uruguay, and then to Chile.
