Nicole's sister: I think O.J. did it

SANTA ANA, Calif., Nov. 23 -- Denise Brown said publicly for the first time that she believes O.J. Simpson is guilty of killing her younger sister and a friend. 'Nicole had always said, 'O.J.'s going to kill me one day and he's going to get away with it ... because he's O.J. Simpson and O.J. Simpson never has to pay for anything,'' Brown said during a 2 1/2 hour interview with the Orange County Register newspaper.

Brown also revealed that the slain woman left several scribbled notes documenting alleged incidents of abuse by Simpson, a movie and television actor and former football hero. Brown declined to elaborate on the content of those notes, which were found at Nicole Simpson's Brentwood home, saying the evidence had been turned over to prosecutors. But, Brown said, 'I can't wait for them to get me on the stand ... O.J., the man, honestly thinks he didn't do it. He believes his own lies.' Simpson is accused of slashing and stabbing Nicole Brown Simpson and her acquaintance, Ronald Goldman, outside of her Brentwood home. Brown said when police telephoned June 12 to notify the family of the slayings, her first words to an investigator were: 'O.J. did it.' She said shealso confronted Simpson when he called later that day. 'I said, 'You murderer! You killed my sister! You always said you were going to do it!'' Brown recalled. 'He said, 'Me?!' That's all he thinks about, 'me, me, me.'' If convicted of killing the pair, Simpson could spend the rest of his life in prison without the possibility of parole.
