KANSAS CITY, Mo., April 26 -- The Kansas City Chiefs Tuesday signed free agent defensive back Mark Collins, a starter on two Super Bowl championship teams with the New York Giants, to a four-year contract.
The 30-year-old Collins was a starter at cornerback for the Giants for the past eight years and has 17 interceptions, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and 3 sacks to go along with 515 tackles.

Last season, Collins led the Giants with four interceptions and had 71 tackles. One of his interceptions was returned 50 yards for a touchdown in a victory over the Los Angeles Rams.
Collins was a second round draft choice in 1986 after starring at Cal State-Fullerton.
