Georgia 43, Georgia Tech 10

ATLANTA -- Terrell Davis and Bill Montgomery each scored touchdowns on short runs, Kanon Parkman kicked three field goals and Georgia scored 33 unanswered points Thursday en route to a 43-10 victory over Georgia Tech in a game marred by a fourth-quarter brawl.

The Bulldogs, 5-6, defeated Georgia Tech, 5-6, for the third straight time and broke a two-game losing streak.

The Bulldogs were leading 36-10 late in the fourth quarter when Zeier threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to James Warner on 4th-and-goal.

Warner was hit in the end zone, which touched off the sideline- clearing brawl.

Parkman's 27-yard field goal gave the Bulldogs a 13-10 lead with 13:15 left in the third quarter and Georgia never trailed after that.

Parkman's third field goal of the game, a 38-yarder, made it 16-10 with 8:52 remaining and Montgomery's 1-yard scoring run gave Georgia a 13-point lead.

Georgia blew the game open on a rushing touchdown by Frank Harvey, a 26-yard interception return for a touchdown by Greg Tremble and Zeier's scoring strike.

Davis' 2-yard run gave Georgia a 10-3 lead in the second quarter.
