Rockets 112, Timberwolves 110, OT

HOUSTON -- Matt Bullard scored 7 of his career-high 28 points in overtime, including a tie-breaking 20-foot jumper with 1.2 seconds left Thursday night to give the Houston Rockets a 112-110 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Hakeem Olajuwon had 33 points, 15 rebounds and 5 blocked shots for the Rockets, who have won 11 straight games.

The Rockets have won a franchise-record 55 games. Their 25-4 record since the All-Star break is the best in the NBA.

Chris Smith's 24-foot jumper with 2.5 seconds left in the fourth quarter sent the game into overtime tied at 101. Doug West led Minnesota with 29 points before being ejected after getting a technical foul with 17.8 seconds left in the fourth quarter.

Christian Laettner had 23 points for Minnesota and Chuck Person added 22. Terry Teagle, who was signed earlier in the day to replace the injured Vernon Maxwell, scored two points in 15 minutes. The Timberwolves have lost 11 straight.
