PITTSBURGH -- Integra Bank/Pittsburgh said Friday the merger of Equibank into Integra Bank/Pittsburgh has been completed.
The conversion of Equibank systems into Integra's marks the end of the merger process that was announced July 30, 1992, when Integra Financial Corp. reached an agreement to acquire Equimark.
The merger included the consolidation of 17 branches with a nearby location. Integra Bank/Pittsburgh has 126 branches and serves Allegheny, Beaver, Butler and Westmoreland counties.
Integra Financial Corp. is the third largest bank holding company in western Pennsylvania. Integra has assets of $13.5 billion and operates three banks -- Integra Bank/South, Integra Bank/Pittsburgh and Integra Bank/North -- with 260 offices in 22 counties in western Pennsylvania.
Other major affiliates include Integra Investment Co., Integra Mortgage Co, and Integra Trust Co.
