Three nominations apiece went to 'Basic Instinct,' 'Final Analysis,' 'Hoffa' and 'Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot.'

The Razzies consist of nine categories and are voted on by 386 film professionals, critics and fans scattered throughout 30 states, England, Canada, Russia, Switzerland and Japan.

As the most reviled movie of 1992, 'The Bodyguard,' a love story between a singer-turned-actress and her hired protector, was a $100 million box-office hit although slammed by critics.

It was nominated for worst picture of the year along with 'Christopher Columbus: The Discovery,' 'Final Analysis,' 'Newsies' and 'Shining Through.'

Three stars were nominated for worst actor of 1992 in two pictures each: Michael Douglas, 'Basic Instinct' and 'Shining Through;' Jack Nicholson, 'Hoffa' and 'Man Trouble,' and Tom Selleck, 'Folks' and 'Mr. Baseball.'

Joining them in the worst actor category were Kevin Costner for 'The Bodyguard' and Sylvester Stallone for 'Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot You. '
