During their two-month crime spree in 1991, the four robbed and killed three men and abducted and killed two women. The women were kidnapped from the Puente Hill Mall.

Alleged ringleader John Irving Lewis, 22, was found guilty of all five murders. The ex-con had confessed to committing the slayings to 'get back at society.'

Eileen Huber, 21, was found guilty of three of the four slayings. Vincent Hubbard, 26, was convicted of two of the slayings and Robin Machuca, 27, was found guilty of three murders.

Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney John Urgo said all four defendants were also found guilty of robbery and kidnapping charges.

The criminal complaint included special circumstance allegations under which all four could be sentenced to death.

Superior Court Judge Clarence Stromwall scheduled a Jan. 4 sentencing hearing.
