MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Bucks forward Alaa Abdelnaby faces possible drug charges after being arrested for possession of marijuana.
Abdelnaby's lawyer, Franklyn Gimbel, met Wednesday with Assistant Milwaukee County District Attorney Stephanie Rothstein about possible misdemeanor charges against the basketball player.

Rothstein said charges are pending tests results at the state crime laboratory. She declined to provide details about the arrest and would not say when charges might be filed.
Abdelnaby was obtained last summer from Portland in a three-way trade that sent the Bucks' Dale Ellis to San Antonio. Abdelnaby has played in 11 of the Bucks' 12 games, averaging 5.6 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.
