Thriller' actress arrested on drug charges

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. -- Police Thursday arrested actress Ola Ray -- the designated target of terror in Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' video -- after allegedly finding drugs and a pipe bomb at her an apartment.

Acting on a tip, narcotics officers served a warrant on Ray's apartment in West Hollywood, only to find someone throwing a large, multi-packeted bag out the third-floor window as soon as detectives arrived.

However, officers managed to recover the bag, which they believe contained methamphetamine and cocaine.

And when investigators returned to the station with the bag, they also discovered a pipe bomb -- which had partially obstructed from view by a broken container filled with an unspecified drug.

Bomb-squad expects managed to detonate the device in a field across from the station. There were no injuries.

Police charged Ray and her roommate, Slavtcho Dimitrov, 31, with possession of a controlled substance for sale.

Dimitrov also faced an additional charge of possessing an explosive device.

Late Thursday, both suspects remained in custody at the West Hollywood sheriff's station, held in lieu of $60,000 bail.
