Cowboys sign kicker Daluiso on Plan B

IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys Tuesday signed Plan B free agent kicker Brad Daluiso, who kicked off for the Buffalo Bills last season.

Daluiso spent 14 regular season games and three postseason games, including Super Bowl XXVI, with the Bills after spending the first two weeks of the season with Atlanta.

The Cowboys lost their 1991 kicker Kevin Willis, who signed as a Plan B free agent with Tampa Bay.

Daluiso kicked off 83 times with Buffalo and Atlanta in the regular season, with 30 of them going for touchbacks. He did not attempt a field goal or extra point for the Bills but made 2 of 3 field goals and two extra points for the Falcons. Scott Norwood handled extra points and field goals for Buffalo.

'We're excited about Brad Daluiso coming to the Dallas Cowboys,' Dallas owner Jerry Jones said. 'He comes to us on the recommendation of our kicking coach, Steve Hoffman, and Steve has confidence in Brad's leg strength and range. He is a player who has performed in a Super Bowl and has consistently shown the ability to put the ball in the end zone on his kickoffs.'

Daluiso was signed last year as a rookie free agent out of UCLA by Green Bay, and traded to the Falcons Aug. 26.
