Fire rocks Pasadena refinery

PASADENA, Texas -- An explosion rocked the Crown Central Petroleum Corp. refinery along the Houston Ship Channel about 2 p.m. Tuesday.

An eyewitness said the fire was massive. The refinery is one of dozens of refineries lining Texas 225.

'I saw this big flame come up, burning about three or four stories tall,' said Al Stevens.

It was not known whether there were any injuries.

Pasadena police said no other information was available.
