OKLAHOMA CITY -- Mookie Blaylock scored 24 points Friday night to help No. 7 Oklahoma to a 124-95 victory over Texas in the final of the All College Basketball Tournament.

Oklahoma State took third place with a 94-79 win over Texas A&M.

Blaylock, named the tournamant's most valuable player, also contributed 8 assists and 8 steals. Oklahoma, 10-1, has scored more than 100 points in seven consecutive games.

The Sooners raced to a 10-2 lead. A 16-6 run late in the first half helped Oklahoma to a 63-37 halftime lead. OU led by as much as 77-47 with 15:42 to play.

Oklahoma shot 57 percent from the floor. Mike Bell put in 24 points for OU while Tony Martin and William Davis both had 19 and Herman Henry scored 10.

Texas, 9-2, was led by Travis Mays' 34 points. The Longhorns also got 19 from Alvin Heggs, 16 from lance Blanks and 13 from Joey Wright.

In the consolation game, Roy Jefferies scored a career-high 30 points for Oklahoma State. Jefferies scored 17 points in the first half as the Cowboys, 6-4, jumped out to a 47-29 halftime margin.

The closest the Aggies, 7-5, were for the rest of the game was 13 points, 65-52, with 9:34 to play.

The Cowboys responded with a 14-4 spurt to build the lead to 79-56.

The win was the Cowboys' first away from its Stillwater home court.
