MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Chris Bosio has been named in a municipal citation with assault and battery for a scuffle with a parking lot attendant after refusing to pay a $4 parking fee.
Bosio has been ordered to appear in the city attorney's office Aug. 11.
If found guilty, he faces a fine of between $100 and $500.
A police report said the parking attendant, Daniel Levan, 24, asked Bosio for the $4 fee before Bosio entered Maier Festival Park to attend the Sunday's final day of Festa Italiana.
Police said Bosio refused to pay the fee and hit Levan several times in the face. Levan, who said he suffered a broken nose, said he did not strike Bosio.
The fight had ended by the time a police officer arrived.
'My face is sore. I have black and blue eyes. I was hit all over,' Levan said.
