CHICAGO -- Athletics Manager Tony La Russa refused to accept accolades for Oakland's success so far this season.

'What success? This is June,' said La Russa, who managed the White Sox for eight seasons. 'But we got as good a chance as anybody. We've got a balanced team.'

The Chicago White Sox have lost 22 of 27 games.
