DENVER -- Veteran power forward Calvin Natt of the Denver Nuggets underwent 1 hours of surgery Saturday to repair a torn right Achilles tendon and will not return to action until at least mid-March, a team spokesman said.
Natt, who suffered the injury Friday night in his team's 134-104 victory over the San Antonio Spurs, will be in a long leg cast for at least 10 weeks, then will wear a leg brace for three months, team spokesman Bill Young said.

'The earliest he can even try to run will be mid-March, roughly three-quarters through the NBA season,' Young added.
Natt was expected to leave the hospital Monday or Tuesday.
The 29-year-old Natt is in his eighth year in the NBA and his third with Denver. Last year, he averaged 17.7 points per game.
