Clemons, only 5-foot-5 and 165 pounds, also scored on runs of 3 and 2 yards and finished the day with 138 yards total offense. That included 46 yards rushing on 14 carries.

The Tribe, ranked No. 7 in 1-AA, also got a 20-yard field goal by Brian Morris in the third quarter.

The Dukes, 2-2, fell behind 21-0 early, but came storming back. James Madison got a 4-yard TD run over right tackle by Craig Blandford in the second period and opened the third period with a 65-yard, 4-play drive capped by Warren Marshall's 4-yard run up the middle that cut the lead to 21-14.

But the Indians came back on Morris' field goal and then added the 13-yard scoring pass from Yagiello to Clemons for the final score in the fourth quarter.
