MANKATO, Minn. -- The Minnesota Vikings cut cornerback Carl Lee and kick returner Eric Robinson Tuesday and placed four players on injured reserve, including wide receiver Sammy White.
White, who is suffering from a pulled groin, led the Vikings last year with an average gain of 19 yards per catch, but he apparently has been moverd out of the starting lineup by Leo Lewis and newly acquired Anthony Carter.
Also placed on injured reserve were veteran guard Wes Hamilton (wrenched back), second-year wide receiver Keith Kidd (pulled hamstring) and rookie safety Kyle Morrell of Brigham Young (twisted knee).
Lee, in his third year out of Marshall, had 63 tackles and 37 assists for the Vikings last year.
Robinson is a rookie free agent out of Indiana State.
All NFL teams had to pare their active rosters to 50 by Tuesday.
