Le Geros was charged with the Feb. 23 shooting death in Stony Brook of Eigil Vesti, 26, a modeling student at the Fashion Institute of Technology. The defendant also allegedly tried to dispose of Vesti's body by burning it twice.

LeGeros was to be arraigned at 2 p.m. today before Rockland County Judge Robert Meehan.

Prosecutors charged that Le Geros engaged in sado-masochistic activity with Vesti at his parents' 2.5 acre estate. Le Geros allegedly led Vesti, who was wearing only a hooded leather 'bondage mask,' to the estate's smokehouse and shot him twice with a .22-caliber rifle.

Le Geros then tried to get rid of Vesti's body by burning it. He returned a week later and tried again to burn it, prosecutors said.

A second suspect is being sought in the case, but Gribetz has refused to disclose any further information.
