PITTSBURGH -- A team of tennis stars comprised of Roscoe Tanner, Sandy Mayer, Alina Kloss and Billie Jean King defeated another team of stars in an exhibition match for charity Wednesday at the Civic Arena.
The Borden Tennis Invitational was played in team format, and the other team included Jimmy Connors, Butch Walts, Rosie Casals, and Andrea Leand.

In men's doubles, Tanner and Mayer defeated Connors and Walts 6-4. In women's singles, King and Casals tied 6-6 and in men's singles, Connors defeated Tanner 6-4. In mixed doubles, King and Mayer defeated Casals and Connors 6-4.
The match benefitted AIM for the Handicapped, a non-profit group based in Dayton, Ohio.
