NAGOYA, Japan -- The Baltimore Orioles suffered their fourth defeat in their 15-game playing tour of Japan Tuesday, falling 8-4 to a combined team of the Yomiuri Giants and the Chunichi Dragons.

Masaharu Uno of the Dragons smashed a three-run homer and a solo shot to help the Japanese squad beat the 1983 World Series champions before a crowd of about 23,000 at the Nagoya Stadium.

The Orioles' record is now 8-4-1.

With the Japanese leading 2-1, Uno smashed a three-run homer off starter Dennis Martinez in the third inning. He homered again off reliever Tom Underwood.

John Lowenstein hit his first homer on the tour, while Eddie Murray belted his eighth home run -- a two-run shot -- and Cal Ripken smashed his fourth homer.

Tatsuo Komatsu of the Dragons picked up the victory. Martinez was the loser.
