ANAHEIM, Calif. -- The Los Angeles Rams placed center Tony Slaton on the injured reserve list Friday and re-signed defensive back David Croudit.

Slaton, a rookie from Southern Cal, strained abdominal muscles in practice Thursday and will be sidelined indefinitely, the team said.

Croudit, a rookie from San Diego State, was waived Wednesday but was re-signed less than 48 hours later.

The Rams are in Cincinnati Sunday to play the Bengals.
