NEW YORK -- NBC moved back into first place again last week in the national Nielsen ratings, picking up its 3rd win in four weeks. However, overall network viewing levels were down from the previous week.
The A.C. Nielsen prime time ratings for the week ending July 22 gave NBC a 9.4 rating and a 19 percent share of the viewing audience, CBS a 9.1 rating with a 18 share and ABC an 8.9 rating with an 18 share.
Coverage of the Democratic Convention ended up in 28th place, with CBS and ABC sharing that spot.
CBS' Tuesday night convention show ranked 28th and ABC's coverage the following night tied it.
