Victoria Gifford Kennedy, wife of Michael Kennedy, gave birth...

WASHINGTON -- Victoria Gifford Kennedy, wife of Michael Kennedy, gave birth to a daughter Friday -- Ethel Kennedy's seventh grandchild and Rose Kennedy's seventh great-grandchild.

The birth of Kyle Frances Kennnedy was announced through the office of Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., Michael Kennedy's uncle.

Victoria and Michael Kennedy have a son, Michael Jr.

The baby, 6 pounds-8 ounces and 19 inches long, was born at George Washington University Hospital.

Michael, 26, is the fourth son of the late Sen. Robert Kennedy and Ethel Kennedy and the sixth of their children.

He was graduated this year from the University of Virginia Law School and will join his brother Joseph to work for Citizen's Energy Co., a non-profit oil company that provides home heating oil at lower rates for the elderly and underprivileged.
