NEW YORK -- Bud Harrelson, who anchored the New York Mets' infield from his shortstop position from 1965-1977, was named manager of the team's Class A affiliate, Little Falls, in the New York-Penn League.

In 1982, Harrelson served as the Mets' infield and first base coach. In 1983, he was a television announcer for the club.
