TRUCKEE, Calif. -- Actor Peter Graves was hospitalized Tuesday in intensive care with a fractured jaw and other injuries suffered in a weekend fall on an icy Lake Tahoe road, officials said.
Graves, best known for his role in the 'Mission: Impossible' TV series, was vacationing at his condominium when he slipped on the ice, a spokesman for the actor said. Rick Ingersoll said he then crawled almost a mile to the condominium and telephoned for help.
Graves, 58, was recovering at Tahoe Forest Hospital, where he also received 100 stitches on his lower lip and was treated for other facial cuts, Ingersoll said.
A hospital spokeswoman said Graves was in the intensive care unit, but refused to release other details.
