TRUCKEE, Calif. -- Actor Peter Graves was hospitalized Tuesday in intensive care with a fractured jaw and other injuries suffered in a weekend fall on an icy Lake Tahoe road, officials said.

Graves, best known for his role in the 'Mission: Impossible' TV series, was vacationing at his condominium when he slipped on the ice, a spokesman for the actor said. Rick Ingersoll said he then crawled almost a mile to the condominium and telephoned for help.

A hospital spokeswoman said Graves was in the intensive care unit, but refused to release other details.
