A three-wheel micro-vehicle from Japan powered by a motorcE:le enginehas been introduced for sale in the United States.
Called the Zoe Zipper, the urban-use vehicle returns up to 100 miles per gallon and has a top speed of 45 m.p.h., according to its maker.
It is available with a 5 h.p., 50cc motorcE:le engine made by Honda, and an automatic transmission. All safety equipment, including headlights, wipers, turn signals, a horn, and taillights, is included.
The Zipper will be available in five body styles: a single-seater, two-seater, mini-step van, convertible, and a mini-truck with an interchangeable bed to convert it for various uses. All carry a 12-month, 12,000-mile warranty.
