BALTIMORE -- The Baltimore Colts Tuesday released four players and acquired three others, team officials said.
Released were linebackers Mike Ozdowski, a five-year veteran, Bill Bowens and Joe Harris and cornerback Sid Justin.
The Colts picked up three free agents, all first year players. They were kicker Greg Porter and running backs Carlton Finister and Leo McClelland.
Ozdowski, who played for Virginia, spent the 1982 season on injured reserve with a neck injury. Justin, a three-year veteran out of Long Beach State, was on injured reserve for the last four games last year with a neck injury. He played in four games, starting in two last season.
Bowens, a one-year player out of Northern Alabama, was on injured reserve last year for the entire season with a knee injury sustained during training camp. Harris, a six-year veteran out of Georgia Tech, played in all nine games last year, mostly on special teams.
Porter, 5-9 and 155 pounds, is out of Texas Christian and was with the Dallas Cowboys in training camp last year. Finister, 5-11 and 198 pounds out of Northwestern, was in the San Diego Chargers training camp last season.
McClelland, 6-2 and 205 pounds out of Temple, was in the Colts training camp last season but was released in August.
