HOLLYWOOD -- Jerry Lewis 57, and his long-time companion, Sandra Pitnick, 32, will be married in Key Biscayne, Fla., Sunday, less than two months after the comedian underwent double by-pass heart surgery, a spokesman announced Friday.
It will be the second marriage for both.
Lewis was married for 37 years to his first wife, Patti, from whom he was recently divorced.
The private, traditional Jewish wedding ceremony will take place at the Sonesta Hotel, said Joe Stabile, the comedian's personal manager who will also give the bride away.
'The best man will be Bob Ross, national director fo the Muscular Dystrophy Association,' Stabile said, 'and my wife, Claudia, will be matron of honor. The five of us, and the rabbi, will be the only people present at the wedding. It's very private.'
Lewis will soon be seen in the movie 'The King of Comedy' with Robert DeNiro and later this year in 'Smorgasboard,' a comedy he wrote, produced, directed and starred in.
Lewis underwent heart surgery in Las Vegas last Dec. 22. He visited his friend, heart surgeon William Debakey in Houston earlier this week and, according to Stabile, was given 'a clean bill of health.'
