LOS ANGELES -- Entertainer Rick Nelson and his wife were divorced Wednesday, ending a five-year legal struggle over property and child custody.
Nelson, who co-starred with his family in the 'Ozzie and Harriet' radio and television series as a child, is a singer.

He and his wife, Sharon Kristin Nelson, daughter of sportscaster Tom Harmon, separated in 1977 after 14 years of marriage.
The divorce settlement gave Mrs. Nelson $4,000 a month in child support and provides for joint custody of their four children, aged 19 to 8.
