CHICAGO -- Suspended Baltimore Colts wide receiver Roger Carr was traded to the Seattle Seahawks for an undisclosed future draft choice, the Colts announced early Saturday.

Baltimore public relations director Walt Gutowski refused to release terms of the deal.

The Colts were in town for a game against the Chicago Bears.

Carr, the Colts' second pick in the first round of the 1974 draft, reported to camp in July asking to be traded. After a series of skirmishes with Coach Frank Kush, Carr was suspended for three weeks.

When Carr returned to camp Aug. 13, he reported to his first practice wearing red shorts -- not the team-issued blue shorts -- and was suspended by Kush 'on the spot,' Gutowski said.

Carr was scheduled to return to the team Sept. 8.

Carr started 15 of 16 games last year and was third on the team with 38 receptions for 584 yards and three touchdowns.
