CENTERVILLE, Mass. -- Forward Paul Jackson and guard Marcus Gaither of Fairleigh Dickinson University head a 1982 ECAC Metro South All-Star basketball team picked Wednesday by the division's 11 head coaches.
Riley Clarida, a Long Island University forward with an 18.1 scoring average and 12.4 rebound mark, was named to a forward post and also selected as the Metro South Player of the Year.

Jeff Wise, a University of Baltimore guard, and Steve Smith, a Marist forward who led the Metro South with a 21 point average, rounded out the squad.
