HEAMPSTEAD -- The New York Jets moved to bolster their injury-riddled defensive line Wednesday by re-signing defensive end Ralph DeLoach.

DeLoach, who was one of the last four players cut by the Jets in training camp, must clear procedural waivers before joining the team for Sunday's game against the New York Giants.

DeLoach, 6-5 and 254, will be used as a backup. Starter Marty Lyons suffered a torn hamstring last Sunday and will be sidelined for at least two weeks. Defensive end Joe Klecko also has been bothered by an ankle injury.
