'Dave has worked hard under extremely difficult circumstances,' Toye said. 'But a decision has been reached to seek out a new coach with greater experience and more familiarity with European soccer.'

Turner replaced Keith Eddy last month as the Blizzard neared the end of their worst season in three years in the NASL. The Blizzard finished with a 7-25 record.

Turner served as the Blizzard's assistant coach the past two seasons. Before that he coached Aldershot of the the English League.

Toye did not say if Turner would remain with the team after the indoor season.
