EDMONTON -- The Malibu Kens, a local rock and roll group, have apparently called an end to their 'burger and Coke hunger strike' in the lobby of a local radio station.
The four-man group, accompanied by a friend, invaded the lobby of CJCA Wednesday vowing to stay put, injesting only hamburgers and Cokes, until their debut single -- 'Be My Barbie' -- was played over the station's airwaves.

'I understand they were here almost all night, but I haven't seen them today,' the station's receptionist said Thursday. 'I don't know why, we haven't played the record yet.'
