CHICAGO -- An 18-year-old woman has filed suit seeking $3 million in damages from former heavyweight boxing champion Muhammad Ali, whom she claims is the father of her son.
In her suit filed Thursday in Cook County Circuit Court, Rebecca Jean Holloway, who also used the name Temica Williams, alleges she was Ali's mistress for several years after she met him in 1975 at his training camp in Berrien Springs, Mich.
In 1977, she claims to have given birth to Ali's son, Osmon Williams, in a Berrien Springs hospital.
Ms. Holloway claims that after becoming Ali's mistress, she left school at the age of 12 and is now unable to support herself. She also says Ali stopped seeing her after the child was born.
Ms. Holloway filed a paternity suit last year, claiming Ali was the father of her child, and the new suit seeks money for her and not the boy, said the woman's attorney, Theodore H. Zimmerman.
