COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Ricky Frazier converted a three-point play with seven seconds left in the game to lift Missouri to a 46-43 Big Eight victory Saturday over Kansas State -- giving the Tigers back-to-back undisputed conference titles for the first time in 50 years.

Kansas State had tied the game on a three-point play of its own by Tyrone Adams with 7:44 left to make it 43-43.

Missouri then went into its spread offense, running the clock down to 5:43 before Moon McCrary was fouled by Adams. McCrary missed the free throw, but Steve Stipanovich tipped the rebound back to McCrary as the Tigers retained possession.

The Tigers then ran off more than five minutes from the clock before calling a timeout with 22 seconds left. The final-shot offense dictated Frazier who took the ball on the left baseline and went up for the jumper only to be fouled by Adams. The shot went for a basket and Frazier calmly sank the free throw two timeouts later to enable Missouri to extend its home winning streak to 18 games, the final 13 coming this season.

Adams hit his first shot to give Kansas State a 2-0 lead less than 30 seconds into the contest. But the Wildcats were able to sink only one of their next 10 shots to fall behind 13-5.

Missouri repeatedly worked inside during the remainer of the first half to build a 30-22 intermission lead with its front line of Stipanovich, Frazier and Curtis Berry outscoring the entire Kansas State team with 24 points.

All three players collected eight points in the half.

Missouri got four more points from Berry and three from freshman guard Shawn Teague during the opening five minutes of the second half to extend the lead to 39-30. But Kansas State then went on a 10-2 spree, getting four points from Ed Nealy to close to within one at 41-40 with 8:56 remaining.

Berry hit a pair of free throws exactly one minute later to make it 43-40, but Adams converted his three-point play 12 seconds later to tie the game.

Berry scored 14 points and Frazier 11 to pace Missouri, which extended its winning streak to four games and up its records to 21-8 overall and 10-4 in Big Eight play.

Adams scored 11, Nealy 10 and Rolando Blackman 9 to lead Kansas State, which fell to 19-7 overall and 9-5 in league play for a second place finish.
