2 found slain in Goleta, Calif.

GOLETA, Calif. -- Police today investigated the slayings of a doctor and a woman who were found shot to death Sunday morning in a condominium.

Sheriff's deputies discovered the bodies of Dr. Robert Offerman, 44, and the woman about 11 a.m. when they responded to an anonymous emergency telephone call. The identity of the woman was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
