MOSCOW, Sept. 15, 1959 (UPI)Ordinary Russians acted today as if they expected wonders from Premier Nikita Khrushchev's visit to America.
President Eisenhower greets Khrushchev
WASHINGTON, Sept. 15, 1959 (UPI) - Following is the text of President Eisenhower's welcoming remarks to Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev:"Mr. Chairman, I welcome you, your family and party to the United States. I am especially happy that Mrs. Khrushchev and other members of your family are accompanying you. On behalf of the Government and of the people of America, I express the hope that you and they will find your stay among us interesting and useful.

WASHINGTON, Sept. 16, 1959 (UPI)Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev, convinced he had made a good beginning on his tour of the U.S. today, took his first look at our capitalistic way of life.
3,300 men guard Khrushchev
NEW YORK, Sept. 16, 1959 (UPI) - Soviet Prime Minister Nikita S. Khrushchev will be protected by 3,300 men, including a personal bodyguard of 16 six-footers, during his 45-hour visit here starting tomorrow.Not since Queen Elizabeth II visited New York in 1957 has the New York Police Department made such elaborate preparations for a visitor. Elizabeth had a guard of 3,573 men, but her tour of the city was much more extensive than Khrushchev's will be.
